Prior to practicing yoga Jay was an avid rock climber, spelunker, cyclist and swimmer. Having played sports throughout life, he is firm believer in compound movements and dynamic exercises that work the body across multiple muscle groups. Jay discovered that yoga was a great complement to workouts, sports and day-to-day. Yoga allowed him to tune into his body and tune out the distractions. Having received over 600 hours of certifications across various modalities of yoga and circuit training, his teaching style fuses strength training, cardio, moving meditation and breath work for a unique, challenging class.
