Shannon
Shannon has been practicing yoga for seven years. It began as a means for her to incorporate more stretches into her workouts, but she noticed quickly how it improved her focus, balance, and awareness. She became more fit, physically and mentally. Her perception of herself and others grew compassionately. She decided she wanted to share with others what yoga had done for her and completed her 200 hour Power Yoga, 50 hour Extended Teaching, and Level 2 Power Yoga Certifications through CorePower Yoga in Seattle. Her training focused on power vinyasa flow, hands on adjustments, and svadhyaya – the study of one’s self and mindfulness. She enjoys teaching yoga to all skill levels, specifically working with injuries, weight-loss, and health conditions such as MS, lupus, cancer, etc. She believes in creating sequences and themes that encourage students to meet their highest potential within each moment. Her classes are for all levels, beginner to advanced practitioners.
