Class Overview

Master the Movement teaches you how to strength train effectively and safely in a small-group setting. You will build strength, improve mobility, and form a training community with your coach and fellow participants.

The program focuses on learning foundational movements and then building on them using progressive overload. It is divided into three-week blocks:

  • Week 1 focuses on learning movements and working on stability and mobility with dumbbells.
  • Week 2 transitions those movements to barbells.
  • Week 3 emphasizes increasing weights and pushing yourself safely.

The program is targeted for people with a beginner to intermediate level of strength training experience. Sessions are limited to 4 participants for individualized attention.

Questions About

Master the Movement

Is this class appropriate for beginners?

Yes, this class is designed for people who have a beginner to intermediate level in strength training.

How does Strength Camp differ from CrossFit?

Strength Camp is limited to four participants, which allows trainers to be hands-on and emphasize form and technique. Sessions are designed for support rather than competition.

Can you attend other Strength Camp sessions?

You are only allowed to attend the program on the days and times you sign up for. If the same program is running at the same time, you may be able to do make-up sessions if you miss your regular time.

How is the program structured?

Each Strength Camp program is designed to be progressive. You build on the prior week by increasing weight or repetitions or by performing a more advanced version of the exercise.

What happens if I can't make a session?

The program is 18 sessions but is priced for 16, with the expectation that participants may miss a session. Workouts and results are tracked in a training app so you can complete a missed session on your own.

What happens at the end of the program?

At the end of the program, you will be able to build and complete your own strength workouts. Additional programs may be offered for participants who wish to continue training in a small-group environment.
