Overview

Strength Meets Speed

Power Up is a small-group strength camp for people who want to develop lifting skills and increase the power of their movements. These 50 minutes sessions are also a good fit if you simply enjoy training with a small, consistent group.

Over twelve weeks, you work on both strength and power using a mix of non-traditional resistance training and high-intensity interval (HIIT) exercises. Power work focuses on moving with speed and control so you can use energy efficiently.

Program goals include:

  • Increasing strength and power
  •
  • Improving body composition
  •
  • Building muscle
  •
  • Learning new strength training movements
  •
  • Decreasing risk of injury

The program is open to a range of levels but requires the ability to perform medium to high impact movements. Sessions are limited to 4 participants for focused coaching.

Questions About

Power Up

Is this class appropriate for beginners?

No, this class is designed for those with an intermediate to advanced level in strength training.

How does Strength Camp differ from CrossFit?

Strength Camp is limited to four participants, which allows trainers to be hands-on and emphasize form and technique. Sessions are not built around competition, but around support within the group.

Can you attend other Strength Camp sessions?

You are only allowed to attend the program on the days and times you sign up for. If the same program is running at the same time, you may be able to complete make-up sessions when you miss your normal time.

How is the program structured?

Each Strength Camp program is designed to be progressive. You build on the prior week by increasing weight or repetitions or by performing a more advanced version of the exercise.

What happens if I can't make a session?

The program is 24 sessions but is priced for 22, with the expectation that participants may miss a few sessions. Workouts and results are tracked in a training app so you can complete a missed session independently.

What happens at the end of the program?

At the end of the program, you will be able to design and complete your own strength workouts. Additional small-group programs may be offered for those who want to continue training together.
