BIOGRAPHY

Daren immediately felt he had found a home with Zumba® Fitness, taking classes in Seattle with kick-butt instructors and was so inspired he became a Zumba® instructor in October 2011. Daren has always loved dance and group fitness and finds Zumba® to be a great way to get healthy and fit – and to get the soul energized! He has a passion for Latin music as well as Bollywood, K-pop, flamenco, global pop and the occasional drag classic. He is also licensed in Zumba® Step and regularly attends Zumba Jams and Zumba Conferences and Convention to keep things fresh!

 

Daren’s work at the University of Washington’s Department of Global Health has taken him to Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, and Canada, where he always makes sure to find the time to dance! No stranger to the stage, Daren hammed it up for a few years as a sketch comedian in Seattle in the sketch comedy group the Pork Filled Players and is always up for karaoke night at SBK! Daren welcomes EVERYONE to his classes where he’ll bring his special brand of energy, humor, and enthusiasm to your workout!

Combining her love of music & movement and her infectious energy, Andi has created her own non-competitive and unique teaching style. Andi believes that in order for physical activity to become habitual, it must be FUN! You can count on Andi to play motivating music and lead a workout that is appropriate for all fitness levels. She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology in addition to certifications as a health coach, personal trainer, Pilates & yoga instructor, and in many more group fitness formats. In an effort to educate and inspire the world to lead a healthier lifestyle, Andi is also a Master Trainer for the American Council on Exercise.

To get away from her sedentary life as a software engineer, Sara hit her local gym and attended her first ever LesMills BodyCombat class back in 2013. She fell in love with the program and all the kicks and punches immediately. She was very inspired by her instructors and the amount of results she got from attending classes. One of the aspects of group fitness classes that Sara loves, has been working out together as one and building community with other members. This has made her go back for more each week.

 

Fast forward to 2015, she decided to be part of the change and contribute back to the community. Sara got certified in BodyCombat in 2015 and a year later in BodyPump program. She is very passionate about pushing her members to the place they never thought they could get. Sara’s interests are reading, hiking, snowboarding, running and photography.

ABOUT SINA – Sina is a certified LesMills BODYPUMP and Cycling instructor. He has been teaching these formats since October 2015. In his main career as a Software Engineer, he always felt the need for more physical activities to boost up his energy level. Inspired by group exercise classes and great instructors, he started his journey to become an instructor as he observed the effect of group training in his daily life. He is very passionate about teaching, and he is always looking for ways to provide a better experience for his class members and help them achieve their fitness goals.

KELLI’S FLOW – Lifting and archery but she also likes to work on new skills, such as ice skating, snowboarding and running. Her favorite lifts are Deadlifts, Barbell Romanian Deadlifts, or any type of row.

ABOUT KELLI – While she was in college, she discovered her love of physiology and graduated with a degree in sport and exercise science. Kelli is a national level archer and has coached archery for years and wanted to bring her passion for coaching to fitness. She believes that anyone can achieve their goals with a bit of hard work and if you’re willing to put in the effort, she can get you where you want to go.

 

Prior to coming Flow Fitness, she helped people regain movement working at a physical therapy office. She received her degree in sport and exercise science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

ABOUT LIZ – Liz gained a loyal following at FlyWheel Sports, valued for her exceptional cueing, heart-pumping playlists, and challenging programming. She is excited to be back at the barre offering classes with an emphasis on full body strength and core stability.

 

Liz spent the majority of her career touring with Broadway shows and performing overseas aboard major cruise lines. She now helps her clients master the art of public speaking and invest in the Seattle real estate market.

ABOUT LINDSEY –Lindsey is known for teaching high-energy, musically-driven cycling classes with a passion for throwbacks, especially the ones you forgot how much you loved. Her classes will make you sweat, smile and maybe even sing along!

 

She built a loyal community at Flywheel and online over the past 5 years, teaching both indoor cycling and bootcamp classes. Her goal is to help each and every student find physical, mental and emotional strength through movement.

 

Off the bike, Lindsey works in marketing at Nordstrom and loves spending her free time cheering on the Michigan Wolverines, nurturing her indoor plant jungle, vintage shopping, and spending time cooking, eating and traveling with her husband.

ABOUT Alicia – Alicia Miller has been in the fitness industry for over a decade. From reformer Pilates, to HIIT, to becoming a Master Cycling Instructor, Alicia’s experience encompasses gyms and studios of all sizes.

 

Alicia’s authenticity and vulnerability up on the podium earns the trust of those who take her classes. She prides herself in forming quick and close bonds with class participants and wants to be a constant in their fitness routines.

 

Alicia’s teaching philosophy in any format is to meet people where they are and will tailor her class in real time to make everyone feel successful. Her goal is for anyone who takes class to learn something about form and alignment as well as enjoy their time sweating to the BEST playlists!

ABOUT MARY – Mary is passionate about exercise science and nutrition and for years she has grown her knowledge in the area. At a young age she learned her mother was an aerobics instructor in the 80’s and ever since Mary has dreamed of following in her footsteps.

 

Passionate about Barre and the community Barre creates, she has dedicated her energy to getting to know her clients and creating a fun and energizing space for them to get a fantastic workout in. Mary grew up in New York and is pursuing her masters degree in Applied Economics.

 

She works as an Industrial Engineer in the area. In Mary’s free time she enjoys hiking, reading, binging Netflix and hanging with her cat Iverson.

ABOUT MOLLY – Molly has been a passionate barre instructor since 2017. Previously an instructor at FlyWheel, Molly builds her classes around challenging exercises set to music that will get you hyped up and excited to accomplish more.

 

She firmly believes working out should be fun – not a chore – so after taking her class you’ll leave not only feeling stronger, but in a better mood than when you came in.

 

When she’s not at the gym Molly loves grabbing happy hour with friends, watching bad reality TV, and playing dress-up with her rottweiler, Carl.
